Microtecna has been involved at various levels (from system architecture design, to software development and integration in custom hardware, to validation and pre-certification) in projects related to the design and construction of on-board devices and calculation units for helicopters, airplanes, drones, UAVs and space instrumentation.
Specifically, we have tackled the following challenges: high-performance airborne computing, deterministic and real-time platforms, multi-sensor/high-bandwidth data acquisition, inertial and GPS-based navigation, sensor data fusion algorithms, real-time surveillance/multi-detection and remote control target recognition, critical systems, avionics/space RTOS porting, critical application development.
