Special automated guided vehicles to load and unload beamlets from/to production looms and warehouses, built on top of the powerful MLP platform.
These AGVs have omni-directional capabilities and operate safely with people around them. Our natural navigation system eases the deployments and minimizes the impact on the industrial environment where the vehicles will be used.
These AGVs are extremely accurate (being approx. 3.5 m long and 0.6 m wide, they can operate inside loom corridors that are 0.9 m wide). The system is controlled by a single control station that automatically manages process flows, missions, traffic issues and ERP integration. The system is integrated with an external warehouse control system that manages the beamlets' I/O, as well as with an external ERP to syncronize process data.
Operators make requests to the system through rugged mobile devices that are also provided by Microtecna.
