An hybrid solution (PC/PLC) to perform automatic refurbishment of industrial heat-exchanger plates. Once the jobs have been loaded from the MES (tailored by Microtecna), an hybrid system (PLC/IPC) controls robots and cranes to perform refurbishment cycles through acid/soda baths.
When the plates are cleaned, the system automatically checks the quality of the results through an advanced hi-resolution computer vision system (tailored by Microtecna) and, subsequently, sorts each plate in piles for unloading by operators.
Once each job is completed, all the data are synchronized with the MES to guarantee full traceability of the process.
