A complete hardware/software solution tailored to manage and control different types of wood-panels production machines (e.g. composition lines, squaring machines, ovens, ...) with a single software framework.
Based on multiple technological layers (PLC/SAFE-PLC), this system manages multiple automation devices (robots, handling systems, safety devices, rollers, ...) to maximize performance, safety and quality of production.
The operators interact with the system through multiple GUIs. Different optical sensors and lidars recognize the presence of operators and automatically manage safety and manual operations (through SLS and STL technologies).
The system stores all the process-data into a remote database.
The solution is integrated with an external PDA system (ACDL, developed by Microtecna) to guarantee full traceability of the production process and perform condition monitoring on each machine.
