An hybrid (PC/PLC) solution to perform automatic refurbish of industrial plates.Once the jobs are loaded from the MES (tailored by Microtecna), an hybrid system (PLC/IPC) controls robots and cranes to perform refurbish cycles through acid/soda baths. When the plates are cleaned, the system automatically checks the quality of the results using an advanced hi-resolution computer vision system (tailored by Microtecna) and consequently sorts each plate in piles for operator unloading. Once each job is completed all the data are synchronized with MES to guarantee fully traceability of the process.
