Automatic Plates Refurbishing Platform

An hybrid (PC/PLC) solution to perform automatic refurbish of industrial plates.
Once the jobs are loaded from the MES (tailored by Microtecna), an hybrid system (PLC/IPC) controls robots and cranes to perform refurbish cycles through acid/soda baths. When the plates are cleaned, the system automatically checks the quality of the results using an advanced hi-resolution computer vision system (tailored by Microtecna) and consequently sorts each plate in piles for operator unloading. Once each job is completed all the data are synchronized with MES to guarantee fully traceability of the process.

A smart integrated solution to manage the screwing process on production lines.
Once the tasks are loaded from the MES (tailored by Microtecna), an hybrid system (PLC/IPC) guides operators using a Poka-Yoke approach on multiple touch-screens. The system controls external screwing devices in real-time and stores all the data on an internal database. Once each operation is finished all the data are synchronized with MES to guarantee fully traceability of the screwing process.

Using the powerful Microtecna’s MLP Platform, we have been able to create automated guided vehicles tailored to transport sheet metal between warehouses and production machines (laser-cutting, punching, …). These AGVs can operate safely with people around them. Our Navigation System allows simple plant deployments with minimum impact on the industrial environment where it will be used. The system is controlled by a single Control Station that automatically manages process flows, missions, traffic issues and ERP integration. The plant can be integrated with built-in control systems that manages the production lines using additional PLCs provided by Microtecna. The system can be integrated with external MESs and ERPs.

These AGVs have omni-directional capabilities and can operate safely with people around it. Our Natural Navigation System allows simple plant deployments with minimum impact on the industrial environment where it will be used. The system is controlled by a single Control Station that automatically manages process flows, missions, traffic issues and ERP integration. The plant is also integrated with a built-in roller control system that manages the production lines’ rollers using PLCs and Inverters provided by Microtecna. The system can be integrated with external MESs and ERPs.

A smart integrated solution to manage the part-picking process in order to supply multiple production lines.
Given the extreme differences between parts sizes, this operation is performed by human workers. The system automatically sinchronize the joblists from MES and creates an optimized picking schedule for each distributed warehouse and connected operator. Operators, guided by proper blinking lights and screens, pick-up the required parts and place them inside proper containers (with light indicators and touch-screens) on AGVs. In the end the vehicles manage the parts deployment to the production lines and the system notifies the processed data to MES.
